Hit cycling in the dead season

Young people joined the organization "Center for Social and Business Initiatives" (Yaremcha) with the participation of partner organizations that successfully implement the project "VeloKrayina" supported by the European Union under the Neighbourhood Programme "Romania - Ukraine." The project area includes the Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi and Transcarpathian region. Cells of the project are based in towns, well known among tourists - Yaremche, Vorokhta Yablunitsa, Mountain Plains, Coloma, Kosovo, and Rakhiv Vyzhnytsi.

Tourist sector in Ukraine in general and in particular developing Kosiv somehow lopsided - focuses only on the rich tourists.

All services, all developed infrastructure with an eye to the nouveau riche, "five-star" hotels and mansions, chic restaurants, a sky-high prices ... Where rest poor people, especially young people? This and more we will talk with Rostislav Martynyuk, deputy district council and one of the coordinators of the project "VeloKrayina" whose main goal - the creation of infrastructure for recreational bicycle trips in the mountains and popularize this method of relaxation among Ukrainian and foreign tourists.

"VeloKrayina": Let us prepare ourselves for the invasion of cyclists

The famous tourist project "VeloKrayina" that embodied Yaremche NGO "Centre for Social and business initiatives" funded by the European Union and implemented in our area.

Joining Kosiv to "VeloKrayiny" is a good incentive for the infrastructure of the summer vacation. The project received some facilities and logistical support from the European Union and become certified members of the network "VeloKrayina." This means new opportunities for them to develop business, and for the district - a new stream of tourists from Ukraine and abroad. All facilities will be advertised through the resources of the project: the Web, printed guidebooks and directories.

"VeloKrayina" Kosiv "

For more than a year "VeloKrayina" - a project aimed at creating infrastructure for recreational bicycle trips in the mountains and popularize this method of relaxation among Ukrainian and foreign tourists realized in Yaremche.
